mullethunter
My araucana bantam who hatched last summer has laid 2 tiny eggs this year a week or so apart, and nothing else! Last autumn / early winter she laid a few normal bantam sized eggs, but now this! Should I be worried?
SeramaSilly
Is there a yolk inside Mullet? One of my seramas laid a teeny tiny egg a few years ago and it was just white no yolk - hasn't happened since!
Beantree
We had a hen that laid over a dozen 'wind' eggs, so no yolk but often a tiny spot of something inside. Then she stopped laying completely but remains in perfect health; Prescilla the TNN I posted a picture of last year. So I wouldn't worry unless you are desperate for eggs Mullethunter.
Daphne
Ditto what Beantree said. Lets hope she gets back in the swing of normal laying, wind eggs are most common with young hens and at the start of the laying year.
Cat tails
She’s probably just getting ready for Easter! 😅
Luvachicken
Perhaps she is just getting back into the swing of it again.
