chelsea
me - Letitia Dean/Sharon Mitchell in her short hair days A man even stopped me in the street when I was engaged to hubby and asked if I was her!! and even weirder - he followed us back to the restaurant where we were dining that evening and he kept asking OH questions about me!! hubbys dad is the SPITTING IMAGE of the bloke below in the duo "peters & lee" (70's band)....the likeness is so un-canny it has me and hubby in fits of laughter. Sheilaz
me - Letitia Dean/Sharon Mitchell in her short hair days ... I can't believe this, Chelsea! I imagined that you had very dark hair! Just one of those forum interpretations, I have an image of everyone's look & it can be quite a surprise to find they're different. Plus, I shall forever think your real name is actually Chelsea when perhaps it's not? Or did you change by deed poll? Me? Think Mrs. Overall (Julie Walters) wobbling with tea tray in Acorn Antiques (Victoria Wood Show).

I know I only met you briefly at Blenheim, but you look more like Lindsay Wagner to me!

Christian
Me? Think Mrs. Overall (Julie Walters) wobbling with tea tray in Acorn Antiques (Victoria Wood Show). That is how I imagined you Sheila! But much younger, without the hunched back!
Lesley
- Sheila you're nothing like Mrs.O ...and Emma, your OH looks nothing like Beaker What started this was chat in the cafe yesterday - one of the old ladies in there thinks Carl looks like David Essex - and she calls him David David Essex on the right - with some club owner... Tina C
Egluntine I can honestly say I have never pictured you as a bag of spanners...unfortunately that image is going to stick for some time now Chelsea you cannot possibly look like Letitia whats her name - no that just does not seem right. Because of the cup of tea and the wise words I have always thought of thought of Sheila as mumsy but I don't actually picture her as mumsy - long hair, a bit hippyish and a huge pot of tea - cetainly not MRS O I have only seen Bron in the dark but I think I get the Lucy connection. I have variously been described as looking like Greta Garbo (by a teacher), 'that Russian Wonderbra model' (that is a quote - I have no idea who but its nothing to do with my cup size), Audrey Hepburn and an Afghan hound. I think the Afghan hound is closest. I think the other comparison were made because of the looks I give people sometimes rather than physical resemblance. Snowy
Funny how others see us isn't it? I used to get told I looked like Liza Minelli (PRE plastic surgery days I hasten to add!) and/or the little dark haired one from Cagney and Lacey. That was before the hair went gray! bronze
Tina I too obviously only saw you in the dark (dont we sound seedy) but I can see the Greta Garbo thing
Cate in NZ
Hee hee, some funny ones there, although some of you are definitely being a bit mean about youselves (Egluntine, Christian and Sheila ) Sarah, I see what you mean about your hubby............. a builder, constructed a fabulous chicken run............... and looks like Colin Firth . Can I borrow him for a bit please, I'll be very gentle with him I've been thinking about this one. My Dad was a dead ringer for David Jason as Inspector Frost, paunch, baggy eyes, moustache and all. So much so that after Dad died I couldn't watch David Jason in anything without wanting to blub My son these days spends longer doing his hair than I do, and as a result he looks a lot like this Hubby when I first met him was tall, thin and gangly with a really long face, a lot like Rodney out of "Only Fools"............. I'd post photos, but hubby's a bit keen on preserving his anonymity A lot of that likeness has faded since he's gone grey and put on weight, but they still share that long face and gormless expression ( I do so hope he never reads this )
