I feel sorry for Leon really as he is now getting a load of abuse as so few people feel he should have won. Its funny cause I was saying to the other half before the winner was announced how you would hate to be Leon if he won as everyone knows hes not as good, like last year when that Quin kid was against Leona in the final, he was prob praying he didnt win, so people wouldnt slag him for not being as good. There is no need for him to go home and sulk - unless it Cowell leading him to get the publicity. Last night Layla and I were talking about going to see Rhydian in a show next Christmas (she cried when he lost) ...well we think that is what he might be up to theis time next year. I think TBH thats just the way the paper decided to work it in a sensationalist way, it doesnt say that Same Difference attended either and only one of the judges went to. Guest Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 To be fair to Rhydian, I'm not sure I'd fancy going to the wrap party, if I were in his shoes. You've just lost out on a massive record contract, you're tired and emotional, and the papers and internet are screaming out that you 'wuz robbed' - it doesn't exactly scream 'lets go and PAR-TAY', does it? I tried voting for Rhydian, and couldn't, my friend tried voting for Leon and couldn't - the phone lines were jammed because simply so many people were trying to vote - they need to stop having the results shows of these things on the same night as the main show, and do what they do in American Idol, and have the results show live the next night (not like the fake Sunday show on 'Strictly') - saves the mad rush of people all trying to vote at once.
