CatsCube Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 I would like to see both Danis acts go head to head at the end, as it will be one ion the eye for the mogels Louis and Simon, who have made a lot of nasty comments about danis abilities as a menton, with Louis at one point saying to her 'what do you know about making a hit record, you've never had one' All credit to her I didnt agree with any of her selection at the begining, but she much have seen something a lot of us didnt and has brought out the best in her acts. I can see Leon sinking without trace after this first single. Do you think people got confused and thought they were voting for Leona again? Rhydian will have a career anyway. I hated the performance with Katherine Jenkins, I dont mind a bit of classical music but to me she warbles like the cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz ......I think that may have swayed the vote a little. Aunty e Posted December 16, 2007 Share Posted December 16, 2007 ARGH! Just got home and checked online, after watching the final performances. Leon was AWFUL. The boy can't sing anything except jazz (where dodgy tuning doesn't matter apparently). Rhydian was a bit off in his final performance, and frankly, most of my professional friends are better singers than him, but I really hoped he would win. Actually, I really wanted Same Difference to win even though they can't sing, because they at least have personalities, whereas I found Leon really bland. And enough already with his single mum. My mum had five kids to raise on her own, but that doesn't mean I should win a national talent competition (although it would be nice if anyone is watching). Am really cross now. Well, I haven't seen last nights show yet,but I am glad he didn't win He will have a MUCH better career this way,without Simon Cowell pulling the strings, & will probably go on to be the next Michael Ball. To be quite honest, if she was as annoying at school as she was on telly, I can completely understand why she was bullied. All lacklustre and mediocre performers....and they knew it. They went for the pulling at the heart strings ploy to get votes. I didn't exactly hate Leon....but he is not a star. Rhyddian isn't the greatest opera singer in the world, but he has star quality and will never be out of work. Leon will be forgotten in a year. I was gutted that Rhydian didn't win, especially with having the same name as him - kind of part of the family! I adored his voice & his looks - only because he looked sort of Austrian / german to me & I have a thing for those sort of looking men (sorry hubby)! Rhydian was by far the best singer - I loved Phantom, The Queen thing & you raise me up - but sung on his own. I thought the opera singer totally murdered the song for him & I think that is why he didn't win. I do hope he brings an albumn out soon! Same difference - OMG! So very childish! Leon - a nice lad, but not a star. Nice voice, cute looks - but just average. Glad that he can give his mum a better life tho - bless him! Roll on Rhydian! I was absolutely delighted to see him sing with the lovely Miss Jenkins. I was absolutely rapped for drooling! They won't let me down on that one, she is LOVELY! She came to Alcester once and I reluctanly went to watch her, after the concert I bought all her albums and I'm hoping to see Viva La Diva in May!
