Richard
My Orps got soaked on Saturday - they didn't have the sence to stay out of the rain, which was torrential. The next day their feathers were fantastic - I have never seen them so fluffy! 'because they're worth it'

Guest
i've heard that washing your hair in rainwater makes it soft and fluffy, never fancied trying it though. This just proves it works!

Janty
I love looking at your Orps...they remind me so much of my blue and splash cochins. I will have to try the rain methods of plumping up their feathers. Or at least I would if they didn't run inside at the slightest hint of rain. chelsea
Are you sure they didnt spend the night in the cube having a pampering session??!! Im sure that those lovely feathers couldnt reach such "poofyness" on their own and with just rainwater! They must be off somewhere special Richard, maybe some random cockerel they need to impress!! Fab pics

chrisnrob
Mine prefer to 'wash and go'! That reminds me of a Victoria Wood sketch: "Still take two bottles into the shower? I prefer to wash and go" VW: "I prefer to get dressed myself first actually!" Rob
