buffie
The photographer asked me to keep kissing Tulip, no problem I said but trying to look at him and kiss her beak. Not easy Anyway Poppy has laid an egg in the nest. If anyone tells you that an Eglu is a trendy bit of kit that isn't suitable for hens, I now have the answer. Poppy has never had a nest to lay in and chose the nest in the Eglu. End of story and no we didn't even put in a plastic or ceramic egg to show her Endorsed by Poppy BBxx I am still so excited

buffie
I'll get the cable sorted out tomorrow and get pics on my blog. They didn't know how to go to bed I had to pick them up and post them in, they sounded really contented so I've left them to snooze as free range girls. What a life they'll have now BBx

The Dogmother
Awww, bless! Did you pull their little patchwork quilts up under their chins? I went out tonight and the two littlies were in the nest, with their heads buried under Lily
buffie
Peeked on them in the dark They are fine, bit put out I opened their snug hatch to check. It's cold out today so not sure what they'll think, but they'll start the day with warm mash. I just want to spend all day with them BBx

Egluntyne
Fantastic! Lovely pictures. They looks so alert and enquiring. I've emailed Adele to ask if I can reserve 3 in March. As there has been such interest after Jamie and Hugh's programmes ...I might have to wait! That is good news for the hens....but bad news for me!
