Helly Welly
I'm sorry to say that one of our original chickens, Kentucky, died yesterday. She was really floppy on Thursday afternoon and just gave up on Friday. We knew it was coming, unfortunately we've begun to recognise when a chicken isn't going to make it. That is the second of Abi's chickens to die, she really isn't having much luck. And now there are 8.
Snowy
Oh no, what a shame. Poor Abi Maybe you need a couple more to cheer her up? (Merrydale have some new stock in I hear ... )
Helly Welly
I wish we could but OH has changed jobs so we don't currently have enough customers for our eggs to justify more chickens. I'll have to get him into salesman mode again.

I usually take any surplus into work with me, but haven't had any spare lately. I never have enough to keep everyone at work supplied anyway. Helly, if you have any surplus the medical centre attached to the firestation in Wigston would be very grateful for them!
