Humourous instructions...

Recommended Posts

I got my egg skelter today... really like it... but the bit I liked best was the lovely green card label on it that said 'do not let the eggs roll from the top to the bottom of the egg skelter or.... (little drawing of broken egg)'...

Made me laugh... bit disappointed though, no rolling eggs unless we want instant omlette

I used to LOVE weebles :D

So did I. I can remember having the weeble playground with the swing and roundabout.

I love this forum,...we talk about eggs and egg skelters and now weebles!!

I had those too :D

Felt a bit dissapointed when they bought out new ones with arms-weebles look like eggs, they don't need arms :D

Maybe it should come with an egg (or weeble) just to roll down :?

You can't say the Weebles phrase without singing the tune - own up, how many of you had that tune going through your heads when you read Weebles wobble etc? Missed out on playing with them - I'm too old, but someone donated a farm set to the doc's surgery and my son used to play with them (and me when "Ooops, word censored!"ody else was in the waiting room).

You could always get those pretty onyx eggs - must have for the interior design style of kitchen!

With regard to Lego - son (now 17) got his out of the loft and was playing with them on his bedroom floor!

I'm too old to have had Weebles too, but my children had the playground. I always thought they were great, so easy for littlies to slot into the swings, roundabout etc., much easier than the little men that Fisher Price used to have. Having said that I also loved all the old FP toys I still have the Ferris Wheel and my grandchildren love it :)

:D I'll have you know I spend many happy hours writing those labels in the strangest of places all around North Devon, sat outside schools, or waiting for the school bus to come!! :)

The really crooked ones are the evening ones, involving red wine!!!

Thanks for the compliments..... They are really appreciated, we're checking out another 40 today, to make sure they run straight, and tying on labels (my daughtrer does the tying on, my son makes up the boxes...) is this sweat shop labour?? not today, it's too cold!!
