Lesley-Jean
In a previous tread I said my favourite chocolates were hand made in Castle Douglas by In House Chocolates. The have recently launched their web site. Do take a look

Lesley-Jean
OK Anne, What am I like I've just ordered a 500g mixed selection from Holdsworth, on line. OH is in Castle Douglas for a couple of days and will be bringing me some from In House Chocolates. I will now be able to do a genuine scientific trial to compare the two. It's a hard life but someone has to do these things
The Dogmother
While we're on the subject of chocolates... I was given some After Eights by the old lady that we watch out for. I unwrapped them last nigth to keep me company while I was ironing, only to find out that they're Irish Cream After Eights How disgusting are they???? Needless Phil had most of them for brekkie Bleurgh!

Martin B
I don't like chocholate much! I gave it up for lent anyway!
Lesley-Jean
Martin, It's not normal not to like chocolate, I put your not liking chocolate much, down to you being a boy and we all know boys are not normal As for giving it up for lent that is not a sacrifice if you don't like it much. The point is to give up something you do like. How about not mentioning Eglus to your parents for lent I think that would be a genuine sacrifice
Mrs Frugal
Can I have your chocolate then, Martin ?
Hellcat
OH MY GOD (sorry to all clergy on site for that outburst!) Pleeeaaase stop! I've just visited two chocolate websites and now I can't stop thinking about them! No more, now, thats naughty! I havent lost any baby weight and don't look like I'm going to! Don't want to buy up a size in clothes, so I've been really really good and now this. "Ooops, word censored!". Its no good, off to raid the kids choc pot. (look like lovely choccys though, make sure you tell us which is best before I put an order in... )
The Dogmother
I'm not mad on chocolate, I leave that to Rosie and Phil But occasionally I do like a nice After Eight or a bit of G&B. But chocolate cake, now that's a different matter.....
Martin B
I did like it, but not anymore.
Guest
I can't resist chocolate even though I prefer sweets! But (talking of God, as you were) during Lent we don't eat chocolate or sweets and it really doesn't bother me. It's like a total acceptance and I don't think about it. Very strange because that's not one of my character traits. Why can't I apply this acceptance elsewhere? Like when I can eat creme eggs at Easter? Guest
I like cheese, but have cut down on it over the last few years. Bread is my downfall. And having a chocoholic husband who gets upset if I don't share!
