Murdo
Having seen how much time this forum is taking in certain households I have to start this poll.... Do you spend too much time in the nesting box ? I know which option I expect to win. Martin - you're not allowed to respond. We'll decide your answer for you. Go and get a life. Sheilaz
Well, I answered no, because how can it be too much if I enjoy it! Anyway, it's all relative. Would you like me to explain my time/relativity theory? Should I start a poll? Ummm, was it something that the MD said that prompted your poll? Martin B
I've got a life, it's just week nights there isn't much to do! I go play football and go cycling weather permitting. It's just this last week, I think I deserve an apology!
Popcorn
Tell the Managing Director on him Martin - she'll soon sort him out for you!

Martin B
I'd rather be on this forum talking to nice people than watching tv!
Linda
Quite right Martin. I steer my daughters to indulge in other interests rather than watch tv. I can't remember which forum member it is who doesn't have a tv, but I think we must be in the minority for not doing tvs in bedrooms in our house! Cate in NZ
I went with the "yes" vote I'm afraid, after much dithering How can it ever be too much time if I'm catching up with friends , and like others I'd much rather be on the forum than watching TV..... I rarely do that any longer. But then I glanced at my pile of ironing, and really I need to get off the forum and plug in the darned iron I've got an extra day off today (time owing has to be used up before the end of April and I've got a LOT of it.... expect to see me around a bit more than usual this month )..... and if I'm not very careful I'll simply use it by playing on the forum and doing the essentials
Mrs Frugal
I've voted truthfully and put way too much time but as site admin, I feel that I HAVE to be here to keep an eye on things and make sure all is running smoothy......... ........OK, that's just an excuse ! I love it here and can't stay away from you lot!
buffie
I have fits and starts and really I needn't have voted 'yes' at all. I enjoy this and cannot explain to anyone away from here how it makes my day to be in touch with you all : Sadly there isn't enough available time to be here as often as I want but it's the fact I can have a natter with friends as and when the time is available BBx

Linda
I ticked No - how much is too much? Carl hasn't complained yet, the house looks OK, the chickens are happy...... It's all relative isn't it. If the chickens and OH are happy, it must be fine.

kannie
I want to say 'sometimes'! I agree that communicating with others is important - how could it not be? I think virtual communities can be undervalued. And people can be too judgemental about how others spend their leisure time. Just because we're supporting each other through a virtual medium rather than in some community centre shouldn't make a difference. The problem occurs when I know I should be doing something else, and then I look at just one more thread... And then another... And then one final one... ...it is addictive!
