Chicken Licken
If anyone finds it please send it my way. I have had to advance the central heating, looked out a wooly hat and gloves to dog walk in as the wind here is raw and am sat with a scarf tucked over my head as my ears are sore and cold!! Heatwave gratefully received please.

Cate in NZ
I read about the forecast heatwave next weekend as well...............I so hope that it's true, getting very bored of cold, damp, grey days now, it's nearly May for goodness sake. You must be in South London Fred, it didn't waft its way up to the North Tessa At first I thought it was the chickens, but when I went to Surrey(sp?) it smelled bad there too... I was used to the smell anyway
Egluntyne
Apparently it has wafted over all the way from Germany.
Geoid
They described it as an "organic" smell and people who live in rural areas (and keep chickens ) would know what it smelt like.
Fur 'n' Feathers
Ooh yes please. My sponge of a lawn might actually dry out a bit. Just goes to show...we're desperate for rain as the lawn has been really dry and it only started today Our pond is down by 6" when it's normally full at this time of year. Is it possible to send your rain to East Kent please?
Jules.
It's a good job you all didn't see me gardening yesterday afternoon. I wore hubby's Russian-style furry hat that has ear flaps that he got from Joe Browns I was lovely & toasty
