Mrs Frugal
Oh dear, hope you're soon feeling better Kate (another Kate ). I wouldn't worry about the avatar because they change all the time. You just get used to one and it's changed into something else (yes, SarahJo, I'm talking about you ). I think I have seen the one you've chosen on the forum before but it may well have changed into something else by now . Get well soon. Cate in NZ
Thanks Kate Actually when I saw it as an avatar instead of a google animation it did look familiar, so I think maybe I have seen it in use here, probably too unlikely to find a good new chicken avatar. But I did skim through some old postings, supposed to be checking avatars, but ended up reading instead But I haven't come across this one in current use by anyone else so far, so maybe as you suggest someone's updated their avatar or else it could be used by someone who's not posting regularly on the bits I've been reading. Whatever I think I'll change again soon. I'll just have too keep looking for an avatar I'm happy with, & then I can have another avatar update session Kate A Sage Onion
Sheilaz
Hello Kate A. That's a great avatar, I don't recall seeing it on forum, not recently at least. Do hope you feel much better very soon. How sensible using the time to read up on forum, there's a lot of interesting info. there isn't there. But now, back to bed & I'll bring you a cup of tea. I'm just a chatty novice, but learning loads from you guys out there. Kate A Sage Onion
red
Don't worry ... look at me ... and I haven't even got my chickens yet .... am I going to make it to 3 months with my empty eglu still I think it's keeping the neighbours interested - you can just about see a brief glimpse of it through our hedgerow and I've seen people slowing as they walk down the lane - one day a chickens going to cluck and they'll get a shock
Lesley
You definitely hold the record for keeping an empty Eglu Red
SarahJo
Some of you may need to re-load avatars onto the new formatted site ... my Tweety Flying is no longer accepted in the new 80x80 pixels format ... so they have not been deleted by anyone, just "formatted". Cate in NZ
Just as I'd found an avatar that I really like they change the system and it no longer fits Found another one though- hope I can keep this for a little bit longer. Sheilaz
Kate! Is that you? Love the big knicker/super powers avatar. Very apt on both countsand really funny when I saw it just now But, I love your '40's housewife...don't change, we love you just the way you are Although, I suppose you deserve a break from all that washing up PS. Who's doing all these teacups now?
Mrs Frugal
The new avatar (or should that be Super Avatar) was done by Jane for me and I think it's ace, especially the big white knickers!! Thanks again Jane. The poor 1940s housewife doing the washing up is lost in cyberspace as I don't have it saved on my computer and I can't remember where I got it from so I'm saved from dishwasher hands for all eternity now!! I can't be a 1940s housewife in the new supermoderator outfit, can I so I'm now SuperKate!!
Lesley
I love it! But who is going to do all the washing up? We're having an online party and no-one to wash up
Mrs Frugal
I'll search the internet for her and keep the washing up housewife for parties, how about that!! Got to keep my superpants glowing white, haven't I .

Cate in NZ
Yes Kate, it's brilliant , but I will miss you busily doing all that washing up When I logged on a few mins ago and read a posting from you it actually took a minute for the penny to drop that it was you
motherhen
I'd better come clean and say that I found a picture by googling and just customised it for Kate - so who ever the artist is - thanks. I'm sure there are copyright issues here but as long as it is just on the forum and Kate doesn't start selling knickers with the image on them , I think we are probably OK. I was sitting down catching up this evening and the Assistant to the Managing Director suddenly leaned across and said 'Didn't Kate used to be the one doing the washing up ?' Scary child.
