Someone somewhere was asking about the lilac cube.

 

Ah well.

 

I thought it looked lilac and not purple - its the rain - it is doing my head in On that note totally off topic, Egluntine - when your aubiose gets wet do you just let it dry off - the edges of my run get a bit wet at the moment so the aubiose gets damp, fine elsewhere . Should I be mixing it up - it just seems to be the surface or just leaving it to dry out on the top. Praying for sun sun sun.

It dries out quite quickly....if there is some respite between showers. Roll on summer!

Phew thanks for that. It is only round the edges so not really worried. Bought another couple of bales of aubiose today so I can top it up a bit anyway - think I needed 3 rather than 2 Love the aubiose by the way thanks for the encouragement on that

Have just read the postings on this thread and I have really laughed at some of your comments.

 

Especially, I like it where all the people that felt sorry for people like you with wet cubes who have theirs covered so theirs don't leak, who have received their kits (but not required), not one of them offered you their sticky black plastic retro fits to help you sort out your problem.

 

I've too have a Cube (nest box leaks only in really appauling weather) and no retro kit, not to bothered, but what does it do? and where does it go?

 

I saw a recent thread where someone had put a small piece of hose pipe into the roof that seemed to work, I thought it (THE KIT) may have looked like that but no it looks like 2 fish, a broken triangle and 2 rude finger signs.

I have a leaky nest box but have NOT received my retro kit yet Haven't tried the hose trick yet but might in conjuction with the kit IF it ever arrives

I've had my cube since July last year and it has leaked eversince so I have been waiting for a fix since then!!!!

It is a gadget to cure the leak that a few cube owners have reported.
