Guest
One small, blue, wellington boot. Red sole. Size 5. Last seen in Waitrose car park, but they can't find it. We are thinking it may have hopped away on a tour of the country?
Louise
If you start getting postcards from it worry
Guest
I can imagine it now: "Greetings from Gloucester. Called in to see Doctor Foster. Went out and stepped in some puddles. Not likely to visit again.....".
Sheilaz
Oh bless, I remember toddler size 5's, I wrote a poem about them. A stranded wellie, how sad, and frustrating for you.
Guest
Needless to say that the 20-month-old owner of the Wellington boot is heartbroken.
Mrs Frugal
Oh no, that's so sad. If we'd still got all the boys old wellies, I'd send you a pair but we put them in charity bags as they were almost immaculate as their feet grew so quickly. Hugs to the bereft 20 month old. I know how he's feeling .
Chicken on a mission
If I had £1 for every shoe Esme had lost we'd be able to afford a new pair from Clarkes!
Guest
I've got an old pair of size 5's that are too wee for my lot now - you can have them. The only thing is, they are pink. By the time they've splashed in a few mud puddles they'd be fine tho!
Guest
That's very kind of you Shona, but I don't think he would agree to wear pink. I'll mention it to him though.

chocchick
Southern softies - my lot get sheets of cardboard strapped to their feet when it rains.... Isn't cardboard a bit extravagent Shona, if it gets soggy you may not be able to re-use it! Is it a left or right one? Maybe we could send you a left (or of course right) wellie to compensate for the loss.Lets just hope everybody doesn't do this, or you'll have 1000 left wellies Can't he hop? That lost boot will never be forgotten, for the rest of his life. There may be long lasting emotional scars, not to mention long lasting car park searches. So, don't worry, Grd, we'll be here to help when it's all too much for you. I'm sure the little chap will comfort you too.
