Guest
Yep today we went and bought three new girls! Kirsty was really busy down at hens4homes as she had run a chicken keeping course this morning. She knew I had been running hen parties too so I'm thinking maybe she has glanced at the Omlet forum! I keep telling all my attendees to head out to her for their girls too - she is so lovely and has such a good range. I chose before I went today - I'd been hankering after a Bluebelle for a while and I also decided on a Maran Cuivre and a Bovans Silver. I wanted another lovely white hen like Amber and the Silver is similar in temprament but not quite the same - James still talks about Amber as his favourite chicken so I thought the time had come for a similar one. It took us most of the afternoon to get the names sorted but here they are.... BELLA SYLVIA FIFI The batty girls are a bit disgruntled to loose "their" Eglu but they slept in the cube last night. All girls have been getting to know each other - except Bunny who is still broody! Edited May 4, 2008 by Guest
