Having lots of highlights (gotta keep covering those grey ones ) and a bit of a new style. Thinking of having a fringe (been years since I had one) with lots of choppy layers and the length a bit shorter

 

Not a drastic change I know but DS and DD won't let me have it cut short and spiky and dyed bright red One day

We are supposed to change our hairstyle every five years apparently, so as not to become dated.

 

I'm rather fond of my beehive though. It gets comments wherever I go.

I had another couple of inches lopped off last week, then bought new summer clothes at the weekend, I hardly recognise myself.

Well I'm back and there's no need for a paper bag

 

I've went for shorter choppy layers, a few inches off the length, a light fringe and some new colours - while save short, red and spikey for when I'm 40

 

So far only have the reaction of DD (she's still off school poorly) and she loves it :D

 

I'm really pleased with it and will now have to fight to regain ownership of the GHDs (hair straighteners) from DD
