I've been noticing your countdown recently and was amazed it's come round already!

I wish you the best of luck in your new life - it sounds so exciting and it must be wonderful knowing your family will be all together again so soon :) .

I look forward to hearing about your new life (and seeing photos  ).

I welled up at your post too!

They have all disappeared now!

They were all at the beginning of each post on page 1, all different, but went something like b25 a54, I thought it was some cryptic global positioning message from Omleteers, or post codes or something!

Kate, I can't believe it is really happening on Saturday either. I can only begin to imagine the emotions you must be feeling. Fortunately, I guess that needing to be back with your husband is the over-riding one.

I wish you much happiness in your new life and hope you enjoy your 'kept woman' phase for a long time!

Lots of love,

xx

Wow, I can't believe you're now going over there for good and I never even met you-but you seem lovely by the way!

Whilst you're living over in NZ don't get too bullied by your daughter for a car or a plane!!!:lol::lol: That topic was interesting...

Have a wonderful new life over there and think of all the people you no longer have to recieve round robin christmas cards from, (I remember that topic too!). Hope your flight goes ok and that your new life will be brill!

Good Luck,

Liz

Now what kind of 'Love Actually' reception will your OH give you?

Yup, welling up here too! It seems no time at all since you were posting about 'should we, shouldn't we'.

You're making a huge move, but I think they're the best ones because they produce huge results. I'll be thinking of you on Sunday night!

Best of luck, and I'm looking forward to reading your first posts from NZ about how you settle in. Bon voyage.

All the best Kate - I'm quite jealous of you because although we looked at emigrating when the boys were small I just couldn't sum up the courage to leave my parents - I regret it slightly now but life is too short for regrets.

Have a fabulous new life in New Zealand - it's a beautiful country - definitely God's earth!!!!!! Send us back loads of photos!!!!!!!!!!

Love to you and your family

Kate,

The time seems to have flown so quickly for us since you said you were planning to move. Wishing you a safe journey and a fantastic reunion with hubby.

I look forward to hearing how you get on as you settle into your new life.

We'll have a cup of tea for you next time we get together in Greenwich Park!

Hi all :D

Thanks for all the lovely messages and I'm sorry that I never actually got the opportunity to revisit this thread before I left, but everything got incredibly hectic.

Anyway, I'm here :dance::dance::dance:

I actually arrived at around 9am Monday morning, so I've now been here for a whole 23 hours :D . It's just fabulous being back to being a real family again. Jeff has rented us a lovely house, and with all my things around me I'm beginning to feel at home already. Yesterday passed in a bit of a blur, was really tired after all that travelling and I hadn't managed to sleep at all on the plane, but I managed to keep going and finally crashed at around 7pm, then slept an entire 12 hours  . Feel great now though, all ready to hit the day running 8) . (I'm 11 hours ahead of you all......it's 08:05 tuesday 24th here now).

Spent a good bit of yesterday afternoon at the Polynesian Spa to help keep me awake, definitely recommended and just down the road from my new home.

I will post photos soon, but need to unpack my camera and get my act together a bit first. I'm intending to set up a blog asap as a way of keeping all my UK friends and family updated with my progress, and will a post a link for you all once I've got it all sorted.

Anyway, thanks again for all the messages of support. They reeally meant a lot to me :D
