chooklady
The weather was so bad on Saturday we didn't get as much done as we wanted to. The roof is on and despite working until 9pm last night the doors are not in!! The frames are made so Abby and I are going to do the mesh today and Chris can hang the doors tonight when he gets home. Abby and I have also got to sort out the fence today. I have just rung Thornes and they have got the other hybrids that we want, so that's good. It's getting very eggciting. chooklady
Hi Everyone, thanks for your comments. No sleep tonight Lisa, your right. I decided the best way to do the grub and clugs was to cut a couple of links out of the mesh, although if you change your mind that could prove to be a bit awkward! Any other suggestions, greatly appreciated. Abby and I are working like trojans today to get the other bits done so Chris can do the doors and then we will be ready. Ain't Nobody Here
That looks great . I'm very . Before you cut holes in your mesh for the grub/glug, I know there are a few ingenious inventions for hanging them in walk-in runs. I'll have a look but if anyone else knows who has one, that would save me the bother!
helenc
That looks fabulous!!! Can you tell me how you are hanging your grub and glug please We made a frame of wood that fits on the wooden panels and put the mesh on that then cut holes for the glug and grubs I will try to post a photo later

Ain't Nobody Here
Here's one thread I found which might give you some ideas! http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28220&highlight=grub+glug
helenc
This is what we did we did this as I didn't want to cut the wire on the panels so the little 'frame' that holds the feeders has holes cut instead, also it means that when we get the run in the right place we can move the feeders if we need to hope this helps Helen
