Paola
What colour is it Beauty-Box? We are looking at getting a new car at the moment. We have a lovely Mercedes now,but its looking a little shabby & I really want a smaller car, something fun & a pretty colour too Maybe a citroen C1 or a Fiat,or possibly a Clio. Hubby cannot understand why I want a pretty car this time, but after driving something that looks like a taxi I am now in the mood for something a bit more girly & frivalous! Isn't Andrews car doing well on ebay,by the way! Hi Sarah I am going to be putting my 107 on the market soon (same as the C1). Its one years old, red, 5 door, air con, rear door shades, rev counter
One Man Banned
GOLLY GOSH!! Well old Wesley is soaring along and I can't believe it still has two days to run!! Had several offers, mostly from folk wanting him for about £500, I mean AS IF! Now I have been getting excited about the number of "watchers" as it's topped 85 but how many of you lot are watching as I usually work out that only 10% of the number of watchers actually seem to bid (as in the number of different bidders when an auction ends) but if 20 of you are watching it then that's my calculation down the swanny I have to say I have never known an auction have so many bids through the week - they normally stop and go mad in the last ten minutes! At the moment he's reached what I am happy to sell at (I know of a higher bid entered as the guy called and told me ) so hopefully the drinks will be on me at the Omlet bar on Tuesday night! WHOO HOOO!!

Lesley
Cinnamon - I need a name for my beautiful little Mini - she's PURPLE! Plain purple, no stripes, chequers or Union flag roof - just purple...........

Lesley
er.......... no! - she's not a flowery car at all. I did just type Mimi instead of Mini - perhaps I should call her that?
Paola
How about making something out of her number plate My first car was called Bowly (BWL 767Y)

Cinnamon
Daphne? Or if she is a bit of a fast girl...Tallulah?
Lesley
Daphne? - no. She is def. a fast girl We have a chicken called Tallulah, so perhaps not. If we're talking fast girls, I should probably name her after Star - she's the little trollop who keeps getting in with all the cockerels! Mimi seems to have stuck - but I'm still open to suggestions (better use PM's or Andrew will be after me for going off topic!)
Guest
Hello All, I like Mimi for a mini, or what about Matilda or Maisy? . I got my cars name (Demelza) off Cinnamon and have posted a picture of her in the gallery, or click on the link below. Glad to see andrew's car is doing well. I wouldn't dream of it Lesley! Surely the thread name is merely evolving, so doing what it's meant to and "Change the subject" Besides it's quite fun naming cars. Joes first volvo was called Eyor D426EYR and Myrtle was Eyor2 but I was never happy as it didn't seem right somehow, then a bearing started going in the gearbox and it whirred all the time, just as the Harry Potter films came out andshe got called Moaning Myrtle, then when the gearbox was swopped it was just Myrtle and she is so happy (you can tell you know!) Took Wesley to the gorgeous mechanic today ....... was all I could do not to drool
The Dogmother
My mechanic is 5'8" and about 20 stone He's a good mechanic though! Did I mention to anyone that my new neighbour is not only a David Beckham lookalike (without the silly voice) but he's also a firefighter - life just doesn't get much better!!!!!
