Scramble
Today we went to pick up the two new additions to our family! Some adorable little Pekin Bantams. (Click the image to see the picture bigger) The lavender one's name is : Yolko The Gold Partridge one's name is : Chickpea Chickpea is 14 weeks and Yolko is 12/13 weeks, though I think Yolko is at the top of the pecking order! They are both incredibly sweet, but only Yolko will let me feed her treats from my hand, stroke her and pick her up (when she tries to sneek out of the run door which I only opened to put their water in) Chickpea comes right up to me, then turns around and run to the other end of the run Here's some more cute pics x

Scramble
Thanks They are so sweet I Love them. They can reach the glug, but I put a little pot in front of it just in case. So they've chosen to drinking out of both Except, the breeders told us not to bother getting hteir wings clipped as their not a very flighty breed, but we let them out of the run about half an hour ago, they were adorable, walking carefully over the grass and stepping stones. Then they got on to a bush and they both sat by the bird bath, which is like 2 1/2 feet off the ground Yolko then proceeded to fly onto my sisters head/shoulder... We put them back in the run and they ran up to the down and started flapping up and down it, and I mean right up to the top. So we think they need their wings clipped. I'm going to ask the vet down the road tomorrow and see if they can do it. If not it's up to us! Apart from that, everything is going great! Today nothing could upset me, even if it turns out we need to clip their wings... (and the fact the somehow managed to poo in the glug! ) x

Scramble
Thanks I just put them to bed, Yolko was already in there, but chickpea was all set to roost on top of the grub. So I shone a torch by the door and said things like 'Yolko's in there, It's nice and warm, comfy-er than the smeller old grug (which I noticed she'd pooed on ) you can have a nice sleep, etc. Then she finally hopped in.
