She has worked so hard & seems a lovely girl, & he seems much more mature this season. Can I also say hats off to the orchestra & singers this year Their rendition of 'You do something to me' & the Amy Winehouse track were wonderful, & they have been a consistent joy over the shows running. I am afraid that Lisa was, for some reason, never going to get the public vote. It seemed a bit of a shame that she went out after getting 80/80 but we predicted that the public vote would give them all four points so that she would have lost out that way. I loved his showdance, it was so Fred and Ginger and just made me laugh. He always dances with such joy. Trouble is OH is very grumpy that Lisa got knocked out and is blaming it all on Tom! Plum Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Fantastic final. Until the showdance I think Lisa and Brendon were my favourites but Tom and Camilla's showdance was so great. I hadn't taken to Tom much but now I definately think he deserved to win. I dont count Lisa and Brendon's showdance as dancing, it was more acrobat and even though they were eliminated on more judges points I think that if the judges had marked the last dance they would have come 3rd that time. I'm going to send them a suggestion that they have a supplementary title for judges choice (not that they'd ever agee). Saturday's won't be the same. What's the next must watch? I didn't think Lisa's show dance outfit did her any favours. Some of the positions she was in during her last dance resembled that of a dead spider found in the sink!! Celebrity Big Brother - starts january 2nd I think Toms showdance was fab, much better than either of the others, & I am afraid that if Lisa had gone through then she would have been blown out of the water,as her showdance was just plain odd in my opinion Tom seems like a deserving winner, as does Camilla,who I have warmed to more over this series. Ditto to the above...and we had the distinct impression that Brendan nearly dropped her, or at least struggled with the lifts a couple of times too.
