Lesley
Still worth watching Tom and Camilla's showdance though - I'd just watch that!
Paola
I would recommend fast forwarding Lisa and Brendan's show dance. It was not very good and I agree that it looked as though he almost dropped her. I think that he was just trying to be a it too clever. Enjoy!! It looked like he struggled on all of the lifts
Seagazer
I'm glad it wasn't just me that didn't enjoy Lisa's show dance - I didn't dare comment to OH that it was pants (and that's not including Lisa's pants - what an awful outfit)
susanbb
Bet Brendan is spitting teeth that Tom got through in the first place. Glad tom won though. He was always the showman of the bunch

chelsea
so annoyed as tried to vote several times for Rachel & Vincent, it was either engaged or a long silent tone I know im in the minority but I thought Rachel & Vincent should have won He is a fantastic dancer and their dances were really intimate and in tune with the music and they have been the most consistent. I really felt for him when they didnt win . I've liked Tom all along but I though his dancing was more about "him" and not as a couple, even last night the showdance started off with him doing his thing at the beginning. I will miss all the glitz and glam though, saturday nights will be boring now!
Lesley
I liked Rachel as well Chelsea and agree with all your comments - I didn't mind who won as long as it was either Tom or Rachel!
bronze
I'm glad Tome one. He had fun and though R & V were technically brilliant I find her so soulless. Dance to me is an emotional thing and Tom had that.
..lay a little egg for me
I was bemoaning the fact that Lisa did not get through even though getting a perfect score from the judges in the first part, but then when I saw Tom's show dance, it was far and away the most entertaining and he deserved to win. I really enjoyed the past-winners' group dance too. I hope they are all in the Xmas special!
Seagazer
Wow - I don't believe it - my OH has just admitted that Tom's was the best show dance
MedusA
Haven't been able to get online for a couple of days, so late with my twopenn'th. Never having known who Tom was before Strictly, I engaged with him the very first week this season and grew to love him more and more each week. I am so glad he won (he got my vote for the last few weeks). Tom and Camilla's show dance blew everything else out of the water and despite his Foxtrot stumble, I believe he was the most deserving winner this year (although I loved Rachel and Vincent too and wouldn't have been devastated if they had won). My brother was on a train opposite Darren Gough recently and got chatting about Strictly. He said Tom was an overwhelming favourite with the voting public. It's my theory (which I base on nothing but intuition) that the true reason for last week's decision to put them all through was that Tom got so many more public votes than any of the others, it would have been a travesty to risk the judges sending him home in the dance off. Well done Tom!
The Dogmother
Bum! I just posted then our internet went down at work According to the Beeb, 85% of their voters are female, so Tom was probbaly likely to win on the public vote. TBH, I find Rachael a bit vacant - must be that Botoxed forehead - but her dancing is exquisite. Tom dances with more joy though and that is infectious - I really enjoyed his show dance. I couldn't believe Lisa's outfit though - as Phil said - it must be really hard to make such a stunning girl look dreadful, but it did her no justice at all. It did look like Brendan nearly dropped her a couple of times though - but then she's no fairy, so lifting her can't be easy.
Seagazer
Do you know I dread anything about strictly coming up on the television. My OH is still fuming that Tom was in the final in the first place. He just won't let it go
Sunshine
The final went just as i wanted it too. Tom just seemed to look like he was enjoying himself more and had much more personality which is why i prefered him. I think Rachel's dancing was technically better but Tom wins hands down because it shows that he loves it.

Egluntyne
Same here. They need to smarten up the voting, it is decending into a shambles.
clootie
Totally agree.
Cinnamon
I really enjoyed Kelly and Brian's jive Me too, & IMHO they should have won. I actually didn't like the winners dance very much - it looked a bit too messy for my tastes They will have to sort out the scoring big time, unless they want it to descend into farce next season. Seagazer
We didn't like Jill and Darren's dance it was too hectic and a bit messy. I think I actually preferred Lisa this time.
susanbb
I did enjoy "The Weakest Link" Strictly special. Anton was very funny and it showed that Heather Small had a cheeky sense of humour............and a very loud laugh
MedusA
I thought Anton was very funny too. I think he is setting himself up for a future career in light entertainment, for when the dancing wanes. Was I the only one who wanted Mark Rampakash to win? jlo
I am afraid that I couldn't bring myself to watch it. I loathe Anne Robinson and she sets my teeth on edge when she is on the box!
