They are soooo sweet! Well done you for bringing up 3 gorgeous healthy girls. What do your big chooks think of them? I would love some pekins but don't want to upset the applecart with my two big girls who are the bestest of friends!

Part of me says to leave well alone and stick to two but I'm desperate for some more!

One of the big hybrids was their foster mum so they are all used to them.. they have free ranged together since day 1 but still have their own run at the moment, but will go in with biggies around 18 weeks..

go for it as long as you have seperate accomodation until older and they are used to each other..

Thanks I will, I'm hoping to get another Eglu and attach the old Eglu run so that I can take things really slowly. But it will be in the Spring now as don't want to get new chicks and never see them 'cos of the dark winter days, I'm at work all day. :(

Thanks for posting the pics they are lovely.

very very cute - I love the lavendery ones too...not sure if they mix well with hybrids... :?

Think it depends on how you do intros.. mine were hatched by a hybrid "mum" who is also the top hen so mine get on fine with my other hybrids.. I think its more age, personality and attitude rather than adult size that makes it work!
