Guest
When we first met, the now Mrs. grd used to have her own handy 6 screwdriver set from Muji. Of course, once we moved in together, I started using them and lost them at a rate of one a year.

Mrs Frugal
When we first met, the now Mrs. grd used to have her own handy 6 screwdriver set from Muji. Of course, once we moved in together, I started using them and lost them at a rate of one a year. Sounds familiar . LSH can lose tools for England, I'm afraid so I go bananas if he doesn't put mine back in my toolbox!

The Dogmother
I guard mine jealously too, but then Phil has an impressive array of power tools, which I do borrow if I need them, but then he's allowed to borrow my chainsaw, so that's fair. Just hands off my toolbox! Has anyone ever inherited tools after having work done on their house? I once had a sparky come round to do some work on the flat in London; he was 1 hour late, mega-hungover, stank of booze and was surly. So, when he left about 5 tools behind, I hung onto them in case he called wanting them back, but I guess that he was still so drunk that he didn't remember where he'd left them - after a couple of weeks, I hung onto them
