I know that she's grown up used to not having arms, but it must be harder to balance, especially when she was pregnant.

 

Her attitude was what struck me the most, it just goes to show what you can achieve when you're positive.

I remember, years ago, watching a programme about a young girl, with no arms, who had been a victim of the Thalidomide disaster.

She was eighteen I think,happily married with her first child and was in a hurry, she said, to have the other two she dreamed of, before her flexibility and dexterity disappeared.

She changed her baby's nappy .... no disposable .... pin and all .... with her feet and teeth.

I remember it made me cry. I wonder what happened to her?

When it was a close-up of her feet putting on the nappy i almost forgot she was using her feet! She's absolutely amazing and a true inspiration.

Oh my goodness, that is amazing! I can pick things up with my feet, but no way I could do anything like change a baby's nappy.
