Guest
I'm pleased the date went so well, we were all sitting here like worried mothers last night... I'm glad you were - he seemed quite concerned that I didn't have anyone texting me to see how it was going! I couldn't really explain that the "Omleteers" where all online and thinking of me! clootie
Can you imagine how many texts you would have received? You wouldn't have had any time for conversation at all !!
Omletina Kyckling
It's a good job you didn't go online with that N96 that I'm not in the least bit envious of as he would have been quite shocked to see the level of interest in your date!! It might have been too much for him. Just wait until we all demand to meet him and ask for at least two references....

Omletina Kyckling
Does he like chickens? Jolly good point, E....yes, does he like chickens? This could be a deal-breaker.....
Couperwife
sounds like you had a good time (especially as he gave up an evening of football to be with you ) if he is important enough, he will grow to like chickens - he may not have come across them before - so we cant judge yet if he isnt a nice man, we will come and beat him up cathy x
Guest
He talked about having kept chickens when he was young, his parents have some land so lots of chook room!

chelsea
go for it Pengy, have another date out. Glad you had a nice night. He sounds perfect....................except.................... he's a spurs fan! Suppose someone has to support them!
redhotchick
Pengy you are looking fab! The jim jams look cosy, I can't believe they were only £5. It can be an effort to get out of your jim jims and "get out there". Sounds like you enjoyed yourself. Scramble have a word with yourself! Pengy can't surreptitiously take photos and post them on here! I bet that new phone takes pictures....

Guest
Actually I decided not to persue a second date. He was keen and I had a lovely time but I didn't feel any particular spark and I'm so happy with how my life is now that I don't want to date just for the sake of it. There are times when I feel a little lonely but they are very few, I love my home, my son and my work and have very little time for much else. I like spending cosy evenings in front of the fire with my laptop and choosing what I want to watch on the telly! So I'll give the dating a miss unless I meet someone and feel as spark - I won't bother looking for anyone though.

Scramble
I think pengy's right, there's no point if the 'spark' isn't there, you'd just be leading him on. x
little chickadee
Oh - sorry the spark wasn't there. It will come when you're not looking for it. I'd just decided I didn't want a relationship when I met my husband
