ok.....so i am changing my sons bedding

:lol::lol::lol:

Once my 'children' reached the age of earning their own money I used to find mountains of chocolate wrappers stuffed under the mattress  I'd never bought them sweets or chocolates and they only had a few as a treat on rare occasions.......so they went overboard when they had money :?

......but they do have brilliant teeth! , so I don't feel guilty!

18 year old = socks, one toy bunny, one toy tiger, hankies, ear plugs, clean clothes (dirty clothes apart from his odd socks are actually put in his laundry box) and bottles of water that must be stagnant by now. He has new sheets to change his bed with, but that was quite a few days ago.

16 year old = can't get in through the door because of assorted brushes, make-up and clothes (clean and dirty) plus one empty laundry basket behind the door. Not to mention numerous toys, paper, pens etc. Why did we redecorate her room with new carpet, new bed and new cupboards - why????? :?

 Kazaroo - that reminds me of a dead fly that I had been laying on - by the time I saw it, it had been dissected by my tossing and turning during the night! :vom:

My 10 year old is awful I don't know how she sleeps :?

I have found knitting needles pins (not the safety type) books, cds, paper pencils her DS, torch, sweet wrappers both in and down the back of her bed (no longer allowed sweets upstairs) water bottles, teddies by the dozen, tissues and socks socks socks socks.......

My DS used to keep all his dirty socks under his pillow for some reason and they would only come out when he ran out, now they are usually just strewn around the room, I refuse to pick them up I just nag him too

ED is usually pretty good, just loads of pillows and cushions and a Beddy Bear and Beddy rabbit because her room is always freezing for some reason.

nine and a a half year old DS - Lego, book, dirty pyjamas, clean pyjamas, odd sock, teddies, Pokemon cards, Nintendo DS console, Knex and more Lego. Lots of things with sharp corners, but nothing stops him sleeping. He has a double bed so there is room for LOTS of stuff!

seven-next-week DS - Teddy, stuffed dogs (four of them), tissues and pair of cast-off pants and cast-off socks. All on a top bunk bed, so you never know what will fall on you when you change the sheets!

I went to take sheet etc off our bed this morning and couldn't - it was too full of OH and DS2 having their morning cuddle and chat. Aaaahhhh!

I was changing Jack's bed last year when he was only just 16 years old and found 4 empty Tennants lager cans under his bed :twisted:

They were his first taste of alcohol and he said he didn't like it much and prefers Irn Bru  I did wonder why it took 4 cans before he realised he didn't like the taste :?

Andy got the blame for not noticing the cans were missing.

10 year old son - lots of socks, clothes - both clean and dirty, Lego, books, beanbag, large stuffed cat, empty water bottles, tissues, loads of sweet wrappers even though we have a no food upstairs rule, Playmobile, small soldiers, paper, pens, pencils, teeny tiny bits of Warhammer and enough rubbish to fill a bin bag! Seems whilst 'tidying his room' he'd just been pushing it all under his bed! And he wonders why he never has any socks

Lego seems to feature quite a bit in our kids beds!

I wash and iron all Rosie's clothes, then put them on her bed for her to put away. Inevitably, they get left on the floor, then (if they aren't put away) they get kicked into a corner. I have now made it plain that any clothes rendered unwearable by that treatment will not be re-washed or ironed by me.... hardline!!!!!

Ther is a very big pile of clean washing on her floor at the moment... has been there (and getting bigger) all week.
