No - it was reading all that **** about football :roll::wink:

I remembered later on.............

I had a phone call from the man who is sorting out the next batch of 'dinners' - the dinners and turkeys will be ready for collection this afternoon :D - the shed we've ordered to keep them in is being delivered on Tuesday :?:( Oh Dear!

We have to bodge some sort of shelter for them and we really didn't want to be spending time doing that as we have a lot to do this weekend. It would help if the weather was a bit nicer - grey and a cool wind here today.

Carl is going to get the strimmer out and see if we can find the stream - we haven't seen it since the day we moved in - the weeds have taken over.

They're on their way Annie - we've ordered a stock trailer but we can't collect until mid September. As soon as we have fences, we will then collect them - and a ram will be coming to visit us soon after  That will give us about 4 months to read the section on lambing:?

They are all here - in the drizzle

They've all had a drink and some feed and have had their first look at the outside world. They soon found out what to do with grass. They are now in their shelter and settling down for the night

Next year we hope to hatch our own and see the whole process.

8) I'm just in awe at the speed of all these events. Just off to knock up a temporary shelter for the dinners & turkeys....we'd have taken weeks to do that, not just one day, including all the daily things that you two have!

You really have achieved a lot in a short time, well done! :D
