It feels like longer because you have done so much!! It's such an achievement for you and Carl and it must be very rewarding to see all your hard work paying off. :D8)

Are you intending to produce your own brand of sausages for sale? Most people in this country can't have any idea what a real sausage is. Maybe you could make it a mission to educate them!! :wink:

Yes, Emma, she's growing fast :?

Trish - hello stranger! Nice to see you back.

We really needed to recharge our batteries. My son and his girlfriend looked after the farm for us. We were hoping that it would be after the last two pigs had gone and the two cows would be in their new paddock but we didn't want to leave it any longer. Anglesey in October is lovely.

Said son has now learnt the value of wellies :roll: He had to borrow some off my Dad as Carl has small feet .

PS - Jazz doesn't act like a young lady, more like a juvenile delinquent :evil::lol:

So long as she's not eating your walls Lesley. My brother has a lovely (old now) golden lab who at roughly Jazz's age developed a liking for plaster and ate it from every wall corner in the kitchen. He wasn't just chewing he really did eat the plaster, oh and half a duvet cover!

:shock::shock::shock:

No, she's not taken a liking to plaster - just shoes :roll: We took her to a trainer on Wednesday so hopefully she won't be too bad ( :roll: ) We were given some tactics to use to stop her jumping up in the kitchen - so far she has taken and eaten the carefully placed chilli and run off with the baking sheets which had been placed overhanging the edge of the worktop - the clatter was supposed to put her off :? She also has taken a liking to the bitter apple spray that the trainer uses to stop the dogs from chewing :?

Son and I spent 30 minutes today trying to find out whether the kitten is male or female. I managed to catch hold of its tail once and it promptly bit the tom cat next to it :lol: We still don't know which it is - it is still so small. We will catch it on Monday and take it back to the vets as it is becoming very rotund :? It is 5 months old.

The new paddock is halfway there - hopefully finished on Monday - then the cows can be out in the field where they belong and we can collect the sheep.
