Hen Watch
Apologies for the shameless self publicity but I'm SO excited. My daughter Holly will be on TV the Sunday after next. She's in the new series 2 of a children's TV show called "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". It's a magic school for children and she had to live there for 2 weeks with no contact from home at all and learn magic tricks and acts from various performers. It's competition to find out who will win with eliminations etc. She had such a good time as she's never done anything like it before and probably won't ever again. Series 1 is being re-run on TV at the moment and we've been waiting for months and months to hear when series 2 will be shown. She filmed it last year when she was only 11 yrs old. We are not allowed to see it until it goes on air so we've no idea what to expect. So those with children, look out for: The Sorcerer's Apprentice, on for 10 weeks starting 9am Sunday 25th January on BBC2. And keep your fingers crossed for Holly...... End of shameless plugging...... sorry.......

Hen Watch
is she the one with the red ribbon in her hair on the photos?did she enjoy herself? Yes ...........that's her We've been trawling the internet for info and since there were 12 children taking part Holly is dead chuffed that she is one of the six in the photo on the website and she can show that to her friends. Holly had an absolutely fabulous time. It was a real experience being away from home, learning new stuff, watching how a TV show is made etc. She filmed it when she was at junior school and has since gone up to secondary school last September and so lots of her new friends weren't quite sure if she was actually telling the truth saying she would soon be on the telly. But now hopefully now they will beleive her and will all be watching.

Hen Watch
Just bumping this up as just spotted the trailer and looking forward to watching! Thanks everyone. Fingers crossed that she comes over well on TV...... Holly went wild when she saw herself in the trailer and it's a bit wierd seeing her actually on TV. We can't wait for the first show tomorrow (as long as it doesn't get bumped in the shedules by tennis). We've not been allowed to see any previews at all so it will be the first time we see it. The tennis means the 2nd show will be on stupidly early 7.30 the following week so I will have to set my alarm clock. Roll on tomorrow.......
