The Dogmother
Wow, that's some rubbish landing! Phil is a plane buff, I'll show it to him and see what he says.
Trish
I hope it's a spoof! I'd have hated to be on the plane if it was real
Martin B
I think it is fake.
Popcorn
I feel air sick just watxhing that. I'd say it would be fake. Or the pilot has just lost his licence! I wouldn't have thought a plane of that size could be that agile.
Cate in NZ
Oooops, that looks like one heck of an uncomfortable landing. I'd guess at a spoof video with some clever prankster editing film to produce that. Or maybe an extremely untalented trainee pilots' first ever attempt at landing a plane If by any chance it was for real I just hope to goodness that there were no passengers inside. That'd be enough to put them off flying for life
theherd123
If that is real then that is some rough landing!
Guest
I had to look at it twice to see if was a Monarch plane - when we came back from honeymoon, we had a landing similar to that (it certainly felt like that anyway!) - absolutley terrifying. I was saying to Joe that it could easily have been a Ryanair flight! the landing we got back to Bristol from Dublin felt similar!!
Craig
A few classic lines come to mind, Captain Kangaroo bounces to the terminal and Did we land, or were we shot down? Craig. ps Dont think its real.
Cinnamon
I haven't been able to see it yet (no Broadband in my village ),but if it is a bouncy landing,we have had one of those. Flying back from Minorca about 8 years ago the plane touched down for about 5 seconds, then zoomed right back up again at a really steep angle,as there was another plane in the way on the runway Never liked landing since
Paola
Could not get it to work
One Man Banned
A few classic lines come to mind, Ok then! Quote from the cabin crew onboard a flight after one bumpy landing.. "We would like to remind passengers to remain in their seats until Captain Kangaroo has finished bouncing what is left of our airplane to the terminal" Could even have been the same flight! Hellcat
Yup, could be real. Saw something similar a few years ago by a Dakota (see, it really WAS a few years ago) at an air show!
lightworker01
It is most likely a fake. No matter how strong the undercarriage is I doubt it would ever be strong enough to take that kind of landing. It would have broken the undercarriage and the plane would have ended up skidding along the runeway - probably on fire.
