AnnieP
Hey folks! I have decided to hold a party at the end of March to celebrate my 40th and told people that it is going to be "come dressed as a song title" themed, after reading about it here some months ago and thinking to myself "what a great idea!". Now however, I am beginning to get a few tremors. I still think its a FAB idea, but am totally stumped as to what to do for myself. I want to look fairly glamorous, not silly (itsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini is OUT). and I would really like to be dressed in a way that is maybe slightly cryptic, rahter than obvious (Lady in Red: groan). Can you put your minds to it for me and inspire??

hillfamily
Hey folks! I want to look fairly glamorous, not silly so 'Little red rooster' by the Rolling Stones is not an option how about 'Devil with the blue dress' by Mitch Ryder or 'She's a rebel' by Green Day or even 'Walk like an Egyptian' by the Bangles :D
Jillus
'Girls Just wanna have fun' '99 Red Balloons' ( and nothing else!) 'The Chicken Song'
A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Mysterious Girl by Peter Andre (veiled outfit) Maneater by Hall and Oates (something very daring and a pair of fangs? Although not sophisticated is it?!) Don't Rain on My Parade by Barbra Streisand - a very glam, kick-ass outfit with an umbrella? Girlfriend In A Coma by The Smiths (at the very end of the night! ) It's so hard to think of something both sophisticated and guessable... chickencam
Why not look up what was in the charts on the day of your birth and choose from there?
AnnieP
You guys are fab. I love killer queen. Easy and as glam as you like. Now... to find a tiara.... oh, and gun! But perhaps Fat bottomed girsl would be easier. I will investigate the charts from the day of my birth: I think "Where do you go to My Lovely" was no 1. Perhaps I should just disappear half way through the evening?
Ana's flock
Material girl - just wrap yourself in yards and yards of beautiful fabric materials, silks, chiffons, lace, velvets... a bit cryptic though, but can be glamorous... just an idea.
