Barkisland
I collected Nancy, Gerty & Floss this afternnon from Adele at Haslingden. On arrival home, I gave them all a good dousing in red mite powder and popped them straight into their temporary residence. They are in good condition, although a little bewildered after what must have been a stressful day. Tomorrow we are going to dismantle the eglu run - of which only half has been erected anyway - and rig up a net partition to split Hensington Palace temporarily in half. This will allow the new girls to have more space to roam, and a longer stretch of socialising space along the base of the net, to get to know the resident girls. I sprinkled some corn & mealworms either side this evening and the new girls soon cottoned on - they scoffed the lot on their side after watching the Wernlas girls hoover up on theirs Introducing, from L-R - Gerty, Nancy & Floss. Bottoms up! My four resident girls show them how it's done...
