Cinnamon
Thats really interesting,Laura. I had it down as a must-avoid-at-all-costs film, but if its fun then maybe I should give it a go
Linda
I'd never heard of this one so looked it up on a Showcase Cinemas website. It doesn't sound as though it would be that funny - locked in a plane thousands of feet up at the mercy of hundreds of killer snakes!! I could have nightmares! swindon_clucker
I thought it was the worst name for a film in a long time I mean it doesnt leave much to the imagination
Linda
Thanks Emma, I'm sure Cars would be much more up my street, so to speak!

Laura007
honestly, its one of the funniest films that isnt meant to be as funny as it actually is. it has all the cliches and i can see why its already a cult film. my chum whom i went with was very sceptical and wasnt that bothered about seeing it, but actually enjoyed it and was belly laughing with the rest of us. go on, you know you want to! Or did something get lost in translation?
Cinnamon
Apparantly it's allowed And its an American movie,so no translation reqired (well, not much anyhow!) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0187512/
Guest
Worst film title ever - "Slap her, she's French" lol - you might have started a new thread here!! I'll have to think about that one (though "slap her" also had another name which I can't remember just now - and it was complete pants!! most amusing film title in my book was the film that was released here as The Madness of George III but was retitled The Madness of King George in the US because the producers were afraid that American filmgoers would think they were seeing a sequel.... Cinnamon
Americans......... How about The first Harry Potter which was retitled "...The Sourcers Stone" as most Americans didn't know what a philosopher was
Guest
OK - I've thought about it now.. worst film titles... "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?" (the 2 exclamation marks and the question marks are part of it....) "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" (a transvestite comedy) "Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" "Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever" - rubbish title - but had lucy Liu in it.... but... the winner must be.. "C.H.U.D." - stands for "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers" you won't find most of those in your local Blockbuster!! Phil and that's not counting subtitled films like the Belgian short comedy: "of zelfs al houdt Mosje Dajan zijne kak in en komt er voor 1971 genen oorlog, dan nog zal de Belgische film, dank zij de huidige situatie (om het kort te zeggen) er als volgt uitzien"

Guest
actually I've thought of another one... Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Hellbound, Flesh-Eating Subhumanoid Zombified Living Dead, Part 3 (2005) they took an existing film - The Brain Wouldn't Die (1962) - wiped the soundtrack - and added a new one of their own (actually that's a great game to play with the kids during adverts - mute the sound and add your own dialogue...)
