A chickychickychick-ENN!!
May all you lovely Omleteers find some love in your worlds today. Not necessarily the love between partners, but love wherever you find it today. Maybe in the chicken coop. Maybe in Tesco. But have a lovely day. xx

Ain't Nobody Here
Don't really "do" Valentine's Day here, I'm sorry to say . Not exactly the last of the big romantics, my OH (or me for that matter ). I've said he can give me a walk in run for Valentine's Day and I've told him he can have a new lawn for his birthday next week .
Redwing
Happy Valentines Day We also don't 'celebrate' it in our house having been together for a million billion years I did go and give the girls hugs though
MadMitch
Happy Valentines Day We are not big celebraters either after 18 years, although OH is romantic, often buys flowes and leaves little message and cards for me for no particular reason. We did go for a meal last night though mainly because I wanted to go to the Rugby today how bad am I.
Egluntyne
I've said he can give me a walk in run for Valentine's Day . Beats a bunch of red roses imported from Zimbabwe and sold in supermarkets for a fiver, any day!
Chickvic
Happy Valentine's Day! Me and DH started a challenge last year - who can buy the cheapest, ugliest card with husband or wife on it. It's not just for Valentine's Day but for birthdays, Christmas etc. So far he's winning, my card cost 50p His cost me £1.50 I think I need to try harder. Ain't Nobody Here
We've got to see them - get that camera out .
Seagazer
Happy Valentine's Day everyone. We don't do much for Valentine's Day. A card and thats your lot! Our DD wanted us to go over to see her this weekend in France but OH was like - no way - we'd get stitched up with the prices just because its Valentines Day so we will go another weekend. I think we're just getting cynical in our old age
Couperwife
Happy St Valentines day my tutor group did a fab assembly this week on valentines day (thank you to those of you that offered support, it was much appreciated) I managed to get pictures of Guide Dogs on the assembly, unfortunately, I couldnt get a chicken in there (but I did wear my omlet fleece ) me and Kev have bought each other a sausage making machine from |***here***, or rather i got it for Kev, and he will make me breakfast have a lovely happy day everyone cathy x
Chickvic
We've got to see them - get that camera out . As an added bonus we left the price on! These aren't that bad, can't get really bad Valentine's Day cards. I should have taken a photo of our Christmas cards, his had a robin on a postbox and mine was a poinsetta flower - truly awful
craftyhunnypie
We said we wouldn't bother this year with going away & all that. But I was bought 2 troll beads the other week, a dangly heart & a treble clef. Last night I thought I'd fold a piece aof paper into 4 & scribble a heart & a few words in it. Hubby surprised me with a beautiful card with a lovely verse! I was a bit embarrassed, but it's the thought tha counts. Emma.x

Guest
I'm a hopeless romantic and at the grand age of 39 I think I could count the number of valentines Ive recieved on one hand! Never met a guy with a romantic bone in his body. My husband would have bought a card from the newsagents if he wanted to "borrow" money for the pub, otherwise nothing. Charlottechicken
Here's a nice cheap Valentine card for you, all ready to print off! I am sure there was an equally tacky Asda Smart Price one on the One Show last night too Happy Valentines Day everyone!

McChook
I was off work yesterday and really didn't want to go out, but remembered I hadn't got OH a Valentines card, so I made one... out of gingerbread! It looks quite cool and will taste pretty good too (I'll help him eat it) Happy Valentines Day to all you Omleteers!

Snowy
How lovely that it's part of a multi-pack . That was the first thing that caught my eye too ANH OH and I agreed the other day that we did not need to do anything for today. Neither of us are terribly romantic
freddie
Baah humbug; you miserable lot!!! I frantically knitted a pind heart and stuffed it last night and hung it from the mirror of OH's work van, with a piece of re used xmas ribbon; desperate measures!! He, meanwhile, had taken a photo of a bunch of roses, printed off a dozen little pictures of them, and left them all over the place(under the milk in the fridge, in my purse, on the curtain rail..)some of them wont be found for a very long time, methinks!! True romance blossoms really really cheaply in this house!!

chocchick
I love the idea of a walk in run for Valentines. Sadly OH has just paid for a new kitchen. Hoping for a late Valentine's on Monday night as we pick a different day when it is more special. We have truffles and dessert wine on standby, although OH is out tonight
