Ain't Nobody Here
Seriously wierd . They couldn't let her go because she became "too humanised"? Who's blinking fault was that ? There was no mention of her being house-trained .
Plum
Well guess its really odd but what would you do with it if it can't fend for itself. It seemed happy enough and not in distress. It's one fox that can't breed and threaten pets. If they were to get bored and throw it out to fend for itself then I would feel disgusted but they aren't doing that just making themselves prisoners. The Dogmother
I have to say that it riled me too..... beautiful creatures; in the wild where they belong.
Leicester_H
Seriously wierd . They couldn't let her go because she became "too humanised"? Who's blinking fault was that Precisely. They did if for their selves - they should have thought what was best for the fox. There are sanctuaries. Aren't foxes wild - is it legal to keep one as a pet like this ? Is it responsible for the BBC to essentailly promote this as a good idea ? How many others will 'acquire' a cub, and then abandon it when it gets too big BUT unable to fit back into the wild. IRRESPONSIBLE. H
Nutmeg
She is absolutely stunning, but how sad to see such a beautiful creature living in a flat! The woman said they thought long and hard before deciding, well if they had put the fox's needs above theirs, they would have handed it over to a wildlife sanctuary where it would at least have had a chance of being returned to the wild. No excuses, there are plenty of organisations out there that they could have handed it to.
chelsea
She is absolutely stunning, but how sad to see such a beautiful creature living in a flat! I agree she is a beauty I just felt sorry for the fact she's never been outside or seen grass etc. I can see it from both sides really, they obviously love the fox dearly and have done the best within their means to look after it, it looks healthy, well fed and it has lots of attention on the other hand it's not natural and its a shame it cant be with other foxes in outside more "normal" surroundings.
