If something is "partly worn" it goes on a chair in the bedroom - sort of folded but not neatly. I do sometimes end up with quite a few items on the chair. Ditto Snap!! Whilst were on this subject . . . my friend is appaled that I will wear a bra for two days before washing it. She thinks they should be clean on each day! Am I just being smeggy??? I know a couple of women who sleep in theirs, in which case I probably would wash it daily. I wash fancy bras by hand, as well, as it is the washing that wears them out rather than the wearing. It's not good to wear a bra at night - a friend who did was lectured by her doc - the lymph on the glands under the arm and around the breast need to be unconstricted at some time in the day so that the fluid can drain away. I have to say that when I get home it's the first thing that comes off! In the summer, the rest of my underwear comes off too - far too hot! I remember seeing some TV programme ages ago where some people were doing a sort of Kim and Aggie thing about peoples' cleanliness; one young lass wore her bra for a month without washing it, they tested it for bacteria and microbe thingies and it was dirtier than a toilet seat!!!!!! Is anyone else like me and wears their mis matched old "garden/chook" clothes a few days running?? (hope so!) Work clothes are hung up All casual clothes are folded in the airing cupboard. I also have a pair of old tracksuit bottoms which I pull on over my PJs in the morning when I go to walk the dog; they get re-used too. The Dogmother Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 There's quite a demarkation in my life as I have to dress formally for work, so in the morning, the tracksuit bottoms ond big fleece go on top of my PJs for walking the dog and feeding the animals. Then I shower and change for work - very smart. When I get home, the smart stuff comes off and I get into my chicken/casual clothes... far more comfortable. I have found that when I wear something clean it soon becomes chook clothing. Actually I probably have more chook clothes than decent now. And why bother changing when you are getting hot and sweaty with a hoover or cleaning the loo! I added another T-shirt to the rubbish clothes yesterday giving Sioux her first ever bum bath. She wasn't impressed. What made it worse was that she had had a dust bath and so I ended up covered in mud (now well engrained into the fabric by her scrabbling to escape) while she ended up with an even fluffier bottom!
