Cinnamon
Cleo is making these at school tomorrow for her cookery class. I think she is going to add raisins to them - I just hope she bring some back home with her
Cinnamon
The cookies didn't work for Cleo - not sure what has gone wrong but they didn't hold their shape & came out like museli Delicious still - the girls have had it sprinkled over bananas for pudding all week
Snowy
Mmmm, delicious! Decided my 15 yr old needed to do some home economics today, so started him with these - he's never shown the slightest interest in cooking before. Left him too it whilst we went out shopping and came home to delicious cookies. Brilliant!

Charlottechicken
Thought I would bump this recipe up as it seems appropriate for the time of year. I have been using this recipe as a flapjack recipe for the past seven years. If making a flapjack/traybake, then you will need to cook for 35 to 40 minutes at 160 degrees. Cut into pieces whilst still warm but do not attempt to remove from the tin until it cools (or you will end up with hot crumbs ). I use a 7" x 11" tin, and increase the recipe to 200g of everything, except the syrup, to fill the tin. I get about 24 pieces of flapjack out of that size. I made some last night for work today and everyone said it was absolutely delicious!
Chucky Mama
Thanks, I will make some of these this week for lunchboxes
Saronne
I just made some this evening and they are scrumptious. Just a note, when I checked to see if they were spreading out during cooking (they weren't particularly) I pressed them down gently with a fork and they held their shape well and really do resemble a hob"Ooops, word censored!" (but taste better!)

Alis girls
Was looking for the flapjack recipe and found this. Made it. In oven. This was before I was an Omleteers.
