Cindy is missing :'( *UPDATE FOUND HER!!!!*

Recommended Posts

We're all devastated, our merrydale snowbell 'cindy lou' went missing last night and although we've combed as much of our area as we could all night long, since about 7:30pm yesterday evening, we've not seen a trace of her :(

We've got a double gate system on the back garden, and cindy can hop over the first - but the second should always be locked. My sister's boyfriend forgot to lock it behind him and it must've blown open, or someones kids might've come to get a ball or something, we're not entirely sure, but either way she managed to get herself out.

She's really friendly, i'm fairly sure she'd let anyone pick her up, i'm just hoping a nice person has her. We've got about 30 phone numbers to ring of vets, pet shops, local farms ect, and i've printed posters and hundreds of little leaflets to go through people's doors, i just wondered if anyone had any advice for us - i think we're doing just about all we can, i'm off to post the leaflets as soon as it gets to about 8am - 8:30 am. We've offered a reward too for anyone who can bring her back.

Thankyou for any advice, and if anyone lives in our area (loughborough) or surrounding areas, and you happened to find a slightly dirty (dust baths in the rain!) but very very well loved little merrydale snowbell, could you please get in touch? She's a white hybrid with a big red comb and is quite a vocal girl!

Thankyou

:(

Oh what a shame :( . Are you sure she's not just been roosting in a tree nearby  ? I hope you find her - good luck :) .

we've not got any trees in the back garden but we did keep an eye out last night in trees - we went out with a torch but no joy :( will be going out in a minute again so we'll make sure we look in trees too, thanks :)

WE FOUND HER!!!! :D :D :D

we were doing the rounds with the leaflets through the door, after having already put up the posters everywhere, and i spoted two gentlemen over the road holding something white under their arm - when they came a little closer it was apparent it was Cindy :D

They found her last night and had been knocking round the cul-de-sac (a bit further round from our house) and started up again this morning - they were headed for our house after seeing one of the posters we'd put up :) - the poster didn't mention a reward (the door to door leaflets did but we'd not gotten very far with them) and these guys had been knocking on doors last night and this morning to try to find out where she'd come from. I really can't thank them enough, i'm so pleased she's home safe! :D We gave them the reward money even though they weren't aware it was being offered purely because they were lovely enough to try to find out where she'd come from - i doubt too many people around here would go door to door trying to locate her owners, so the deserved the money.

I am *SO* relieved! :D:mrgreen:
