debbie26pet
i do mine in the microwave, depending how much there is, a good bowl full i can do upto 3 mins
sti chick
i also do mine in the microwave, as i was told that if you bake them in the oven the smell is horrible....so in the microwave they went!!!! lin
Ain't Nobody Here
I never thought of the microwave . I've always used the oven (and haven't noticed a smell ). I think I did about 20 mins on a medium heat (more and they scorch).
Budgies
yes, it's when you scorch them that they stink!! I never thought of doing mine in the microwave. I did the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Egluntyne
it's when you scorch them that they stink!! . It is pretty unforgettable! I pop them in the bottom of the oven when it is cooling. That seems to do the trick. I also whizz 'em up in the food processor afterwards.
Kalu
Microwave!! That never occurred to me. I will do that and then whiz them up in the food processor. Thanks again for your wonderful info!
joybelle
I never thought about using the microwave either, they certainly stink when done in the oven. I put mine in a strong plastic bag and then use the rolling pin. joy
Blackrocksrock
I just leave them by the sink in a plastic container to dry out then use the pestle and morter to smash them up and give them to them back again.
