Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Sunny here too, but the clouds are gatherimg and it's not that warm.

Bright sunny and warm this morning - naughty Squirt gave me the runaround and I was sweltering. Still nice when I went shopping with mum, although black nasty clouds were on the horizon. By the time we came out it was still spitting but we missed the deluge! Then sun, then very heavy rain for quite a while and now lots of blue sky and sunny again. It's drying very quickly out there - good for washing as long as you keep a watch - the showers come up very quickly.

It has actually been quite a pleasant day here, there are a few dodgy looking clouds around now. Looks like we have to make the most of it though because the forecast into next week is more showers apart from Saturday.

its threated rain here today - had a couple of spots this morning - but it has been mostly sunny and windy and I have finally got all my washing washed and dried

Just been out cruisin' because I felt like it - and thought I'd do some storm chasing. There they were in the distance - gave up, never got close, but a lovely anvil cloud northwards. Didn't fancy a trip to London though. And the sun has gone in - I might just as well stay at home and let the storms come to me! Never mind - went through Overton and they have scarecrows all over the place, in the village and in people's front gardens. Very soggy-looking some of them - but it was nice to see anyway.

Weird day here. Black clouds but sunny....then rainbows and showers.

Had a torrential downpour that came from nowhere, I couldn't see any clouds, lasted about fifteen seconds then it was sunny again

Warm, hazy sun lots of thin clouds with a few darker ones dotted around. Dry at the moment.

We have started with sun this morning, but it is not to last, so i am off to do some veg picking before the darn rain comes again.

Well, the rain held off yesterday, despite some pretty heavy clouds in the evening.

 

Today started looking grumpy, then got sunny. the clouds are back now though and it looks like rain for later.

Only back from hols on Tuesday, sunshine already seems a distant memory, so gloomy here... where is the bbq summer we were promised?

As soon as "heatwave" was mentioned it all went belly up

Yesterday they said we were going to get another session of 90 degree heat and sun next month and into October (on one side - the other said September). They didn't say whether the non-stop rain would carry on up till then. Well I can see all the toms and spuds getting blight if this mucky stuff continues.

Er looking at how heavy it is now, I think I will have to go squirting with the Bordeaux mix tomorrow.

Very odd - almost as if someone turned the tap off - stopped immediately! Sun's trying to come out now.

We had the most torrential storm at 11.30am - black skies, geysers coming up from the drains 'cos it rained so hard, thunder and lightening...
