HENthusiastic
Well. They have finally arrived. They were a lot less stressful than all my recent chicken dramas! They arrived, they were released into field! Simple. Me and Karina just sat and watched for a couple of hours. It was beautiful. They were like nervous children. They were clearly uncertain in their new surroundings, but also really inquitisitve. They slowly explored all around the field. They were visibly more relaxed by the time we left them. They have had some feed and come right up to look at us. I so love their smell. Its great. You only catch it now and then, when the breeze catches you the right way. They have made a few little humming noises which is just adorable. Kyros is clearly the grumpy man of the three and pulled faces at the other two a few times . Leif seemed to be the brave explorer. I cant tell you how wonderful it felt sat in that field in the sunshing watching our 3 alpacas and our 11 chickens (they are still in the big shed at the moment). Wonderful. I have had the most fantastic afternoon I can remember in a very long time. It would take a lot to top that

HENthusiastic
They are gorgeous but I would not like to poo pick after them each day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They do their poos in nice tidy piles called Middens and they only look like rabbits poo! The sentinels have been enchanting and beautiful and just wonderful beyond words. One of them actually ran across the field today to come over for his feed bucket. Two of them ate from the buckets while I was holding them. It was magical. I could have just reached out and touched them. I didnt becuase I'm taking it slowly. They are most wonderful than I had remembered. I am so happy . (Also had two teeny tiny eggs from the chooks). Signature desparately in need of updating, but so so tired.......zzzzzzzzzzz
