Sounds like it could be out!

If shes friendly you could lift her up and have a quick look, shouldn't do any harm.

She is a very friendly gentle girl so I picked her up and the plymouth rock (barred) egg has pipped. I didn't turn any of the other eggs over to see if they had.

Not one chick yet I don't think I'll sleep tonight.

I got up early this morning and I lifted her off. The plymouth rock is still chipping though the pipped hole and I can see its beak in the egg. I put the cream legbar to my ear and that chipped Then I lifted the two silver grey dorkings and One of them chipped too

 

I hope I get a chick today !

Well done you . Not to worry about the photo, you were clearly shaking with excitement .

 

I'm already looking forward to more pictures in the hours and days ahead, but you realise this is doing nothing to quell the excitement of my impending hatch - I'm never going to last another 14 days at this rate .
