Chucky Mama
As I spend perhaps too much time having a rant and moan on the forum and as OllieNLucy have a 'It annoys me when..' thread (which of course I will be contributing to ) I thought that I would start a more positive thread to address the balance and to make us all appear more 'normal' I'll start with: It makes me happy when I go to my computer to find that someone has put a big 'I Love You' screeensaver on my screen. Valkyrie
Seeing sunshine in the morning - and hope it stays. Then too much sun and I love the rain - especially when it's warm.

OK Keep taking the tablets Im assuming you don't know that I go paintballing quite regularly.... No, I went once and it hurt like stink. I was all prepared to be a hero and do the whole running through the woods shooting left right and centre and doing the commando roll etc. but ended up cowering like a girls behind a Land Rover

Valkyrie
Old people come and ask me where M&S is, and aren't afraid I'll stab them ... You get that a lot then??? Quite funny really, my DD gets a lot of "oooh, I do like the colour of your hair . . . if I were younger . . . " They are all around 80! BeckyBoo
I'm happy when I can say to my kids, "yes you can" instead of "no you can't" because I finally have a little cash and can treat them. I'm happy when I can do something for my Mum and Dad as they do SO much for me. I'm happy when it's a day off work, the sun is shining, and the children are at school so me and the dawg can lope along foraging without a barrage of "Muuuum" questions or I can spend hours gardening. And I'm even happier when it's a day off work, the sun is shining and the children are OFF school so we can do stuff, even if it's just the veggie market, or the beach, or just the woods and the well. I'm having a good day today after the most appalling week, truly awful, but I'm happy. I have smiled at everyone, let people pull out in front of me, drive through a gap in before me, cross the road and it's infectious, smile and the world smiles with you! Hope everyone else is happy too! BeckyBoo
AJuff
It makes me happy when .. I finish report writing. I see grass growing back when I thought the chooks had trashed it all. I win what I really want on ebay!!! It will make me really happy when YD doesn't need me to help her with her screechy violin any more!!!!! Space Chick
When my God daughter hugs me and tells me she loves me. When my dog chases a tennis ball even though he's 14. When I spend quality time with my loved ones. When its sunny enough that I can drive with the roof down blasting 90's dance music and looking like a cliché in my shades
bigmommasally
So many things make me happy: When DD1 calls home for a chat When DD2 gives me a hug snd tells me she loves me When OH cooks dinner and its edible When I stand at the kitchen sink and watch the bunnies binkying When I get a few couple of hours to spend patchworking and chicken watching When I come home from work on a Tuesday and find the house immaculate (cleaner day) cos no one has trashed it before I got in. When I wake up before the chickens and don't have to fly out into the garden in my nightie to shut them up! And when I'm not the thread killer!
