I love this country, but I feel it won't be long before it deteriorates even more, so would love to emigrate somewhere similar but not overcrowded, but it's too late for us - been trying to tell the children there's no future for them here and to broaden their horizons.

Any future plans for when you retire?

I don't like TB because there always seems to be a lot of shouting and arguing going on and the boys used to watch it in the morning as the last programme before switching off to go to school, so it all tended to be a bit shouty and argumentaive here too!

The writing is of course superb! :D:D:D

No, didn't/don't likie the Spice Girls.

Take THat (current line up) or Robbie?

Whatever my children are listening to - or I put my music on sometimes and have a singalong in the kitchen while I cook to get my own back! Sam Cooke, The Monkeys, The Who, Dragonforce, Alice Cooper, Herman's Hermits, Glen Miller, Tchaikovsky - all sorts, but where the heck has my ZZ Top gone? I just love all sorts of music (but not keen on modern jazz, although I love Dixieland jazz). Not too fond of rap, but I like the Beastie Boys and Eminem - Will Smith. Prodegy's latest is quite interesting. Armored for Sleep, The Blackout are quite good. But most of my favourites are rock or heavy rock - goes with the Tchaikovsky bit - I reckon he was a bit of a rocker in his day!

I have a terrible habit of wanting to see the locations of films I have seen. I recognise a lot of Canadian places which is very irritating to OH because he just wants to look at something else. Of course I have several things that irritate my family, but what do you think is your most irritating habit?

I think I answered this one before and I said I hadn't had any - then I remembered a bad one and thought how could I have forgotten that. And it's gone out of my head again! But I do remember another, and I would have been about 16/17 going to school. I had just got off the train, popped into the sweetie shop for some peppermints and found the level crossing had stopped all the traffic. It was raining somewhat and there was a huge puddle. I slipped and did the splits in that puddle with all those drivers watching me. I was soaked through had very wet knickers and was quite chafed by the time I got to school. I cycled after that! I don't have a bike anymore - it was a huge, chunky Raleigh 16 and bright red. I loved that bike - always falling off it mind.

Did you ever have a favourite bike?

Ouch, poor you!

Yes! Michelle, ma belle. :D A blue Rayleigh.

Rode my bike for hours every w/e and school holidays between about 7 and 16 years.

Strange, but true; Have you noticed how many really good questions are answered with a "No", instead of someone who is interested in the subject responding?

:wall::lol:

When I was 4, I was playing with my brother and cousin in the old run down chicken sheds, The steps were rotten and broken and I fell through them into a patch of stinging nettles. Ouch! But I remember being more upset because the shock made me poo my knickers, I still remember my brother and cousin laughing at me as I ran in to mum. :(

I'm just having my usual breakfast - museli with added seeds. Do you always have the same thing for breakfast or do you ring the changes?

:)

No :lol: Sometimes mum makes me porridge from pellets. Sometimes she gives me some cabbage and hangs it from the roof of the run and yesterday she threw wheat at me :lol:

What was the best thing your mum gave you?

Ooh that's a tough question  A sharp tongue?:lol: Ok, seriously...My mum knitted a Shaun the Sheep cot mobile and it is fantastic! She gave it to me to hang in our nursery and no end of people comment on it :D

Do you speak a foreign language?
