Aga n Chickens
I finished another chicken cross stitch at the beginning of the week and now have 2 waiting to go to be framed (fun to do but expensive in the long run ). Having had something to do for weeks, yesterday my fingers started to twitch . Then I remembered that some time ago I started a knitting project but had put it on hold for some reason After about half an hour's rummaging in the top of the wardrope I found all the bits I'd stuffed into a bag and was ready to take stock and see what I still needed to do After 4 hours I'd completed the pattern and assembled all the parts. And here he is ........ If anyone else wants to have a go, there is a free pattern on the following link http://www.dallimore.co.uk/knitting.htm Kind regards, Christine

Aga n Chickens
I was beginning to worry when I started to assemble him The face mask is a little tricky. At one stage he looked a bit like one of those ninja turtles Christine

ubereglu
I love him! We have a collection of monkeys, (of varying sizes) similar to that one, but we made ours from the book, 'Knit a Square, Make a Toy'. This book: We bought our copy from WHSmith and have made several things from it!
Aga n Chickens
looking book ubereglu I often have odd bits of wool that would knit up into a square but not much else I'll have a look out and see if it's in our local WHS when I next go into Nottingham.
