ubereglu
I've been knitting a pair of slippers to felt, not sure whether they'll work yet, but it's worth a try. Started them a couple of weeks ago, but we needed 7mm double pointed needles and they didn't come in until yesterday!

Vivihen
Since finishing my Summer Swap I have started a rag rug. My shelves are groaning with hoarded fabric and I hate to throw useful pieces away.
bigmommasally
Oooo are rag rugs easy? I'm book on a rag rug workshop when I go to the Festival of Quilts next month. I have been giving my s"Ooops, word censored!"s to my DD1's childrens centre to use in their craft work but think once I've been on the workshop they will be getting alot less

Mrs Webmuppet
I made my first ever sock monkey yesterday It even looked vaguely monkeyish. I was suprised by my own skills. Oh if only I had a sewing machine ( saw a very nice red mini one in John Lewis's the other day..........maybe I should save up)
craftyhunnypie
Can we see a photo of your monkey please? Emma.x
Mrs Webmuppet
I will attempt to get Mr W to provide a photo of said monkey when he returns from work ( uploading photos from the digital camera is beyond my understanding when it comes to technology). He has requested a monkey too
Vivihen
I'll pm you my mobile no and if you want to meet up for a coffee and compare chook fabric give me a ring. I'd like that, thanks. Oooo are rag rugs easy? I'm book on a rag rug workshop when I go to the Festival of Quilts next month. They are not difficult and are handy to have to hand for the odd five minutes. There are quite a few different techniques and you can even get fine locker hooks to use on hessian now.
Tulip
I've just finished the cutest pair of baby socks for a workmate's baby (due two days ago - everytime his wife calls the office we all listen to the conversation in case it's THE one ) Love the pattern so much I'm now starting a pair as the beginning of my hope chest Visualising my child in them is helping my positive affirmations. craftyhunnypie
Wow! They are all so beautiful. What a talented mummy you are! I especially like the blue multi stranded, the green with the crimps & the pink with the murano heart. There are going to be some very happy & stylish nursery ladies.
