tom123
How did that happen She is a lovely little bantam wyandotte, partridge. 1 year and a bit old (good broody apparently ). Veryyy pretty Too pretty, couldn't resist She was in a box at my local food merchants and he said... 'I was gunna chuck her in with the geese do you want her?' Me- 'Err Yes please!' He said- 'shes yours' Me- 'Could you keep her here for a few weeks as I am going on holiday?' He said- 'Ye sure I'll pop her in a little broody coop' Me- So I got her for free She will be going in with the pekins in a couple of weeks Will update this post when she arrives Tom P.S. The picture isn't actually her, but she looks EXACTLY like that

tom123
You can adopt me Sha! At least you won't have a go at me if I 'accidentally' bring chickens home like my mum and dad do They are a lovely bunch, my hens aren't they! Very inquisitive and mean to the dog They chase him round the garden and peck his bum until he goes inside Tom
Daphne
and I presume your parents know about the poland eggs??
Chook n Boo Mum
My feathered ones don't peck the dogs now, they don't need to...the dogs skirt round the chooks with as much distance between them as it caninely possible...I think the early nose pecks have stayed with them !!! You'd have to bring your chook houses, we are up to capacity (if the eggs all hatch today/tomorrow ) Sha x

Valkyrie
After reading your other thread this is lovely news. Smashing photo's - mine don't stay still long enough, except for the old girls and that's because they have been doing something naughty and wonder just what I am going to say - or they think "is that shiney thing she's got in her hand edible?"
