majorbloodnock
There's no option for "makes little difference", so I didn't vote. These days, though, there really is little in it, and not just between MacOS and Windows, but factoring in Unix and Linux too. All have their quirks, but their worst sins are largely history now. Far more important, given the powerful features bundled with each OS, is which options are enabled by default; the more you enable, the easier it's likely to be to hack. Geoid
They all have their upsides and downsides, so I wont vote ( )
Scramble
How come when I try to annoy you , you end up annoying me. Well someone has voted Mac Anyway, you were singing its praises before so we know which one you prefer. I'll add an 'other' and 'makes little difference option' edit: done now
Joojoo
I've just voted Mac To be honest, for me, there is absolutely no comparison. They might not have as many software titles as Windows although they are improving all the time, BUT for me stability is a major issue and having used both regularly over the past 17 years the Mac is way out in front. K-F-C
I always think that Mac are like a Rolls Royce compared to a a PC being a Ford Fiesta! The Mac (Rolls Royce) is clearly the better machine... but the PC is the one that everyone owns! Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Steve Jobs (Apple) started their companies at similar times... Jobs had the better product but Gates was the better businessman... the rest is history! Not always does the best product become the market leader! PurpleTree
Mac, I love my MacBook, although I probably don't know how to use it fully (I only really use it for internet ) Hubby's a Mac fanatic and wouldn't have let me buy anything else. Couperman
Haven't tried a Mac but I don't like Windows especially Vista I use Linux Ubuntu. I find it much better for most things and it's free so you don't have to shell out loads of dosh or become a software pirate. And viruses are not an issue. I hate it when I have to use Windows, although XP is ok I suppose. Kev.

WarrensWorld
Windows XP professional, don't really like Vista, or Mac for that matter. Firefox anyone?...... edit: Eileen, as Vista on her Dell Inspiron, she finds it easy to use.
Valkyrie
Sorry sweetie, just voted Mac. Mainly because my brother says it's the best thing - and he should know. Personally I haven't a clue with either, just pootle along with Microsoft because that's what the majority have. And that's what OH has bought so nuff said - my vote wouldn't carry here for buying these big toys.
