Ali was great! and Joe was sooo dull but i think that was more to do with the dance, most boring tango i have ever seen!

 

i used to do ballroom and latin daincing and teach it so i loveeee this programme! OH goes up on the computer while its on!!

 

Didnt like Alesha as a judge she just commented on how lovley the looked and if she enjoyed the dance or not!

I thought it was great last night. Favorites were Chris, Ali and Martina. I must admit after all the hype in the press I would have expected Joe's tango to be a bit more passionate.

 

Have no particular views about Alesha yet, I really do like her personality but we did sit there and say, Karen or Camilla would have made more sense (not that she didn't make sense but just that they know what they're talking about :wink::D ).

 

My OH would love everyone to keep voting for Chris Hollins so that Ola can stay in the competition longer :roll::wink::D

My whole day is revolving around being back home tonight in time for Strictly :lol: We're off to visit my parents in MK but coming back early, collecting two Brahma girls on the way so we'll be back and settled ready for round 2 :D Surely Joe can't be as bad tonight? :shock:

 

So the Brahmas are coming home with you in the end? :wink::D

 

Yep.....I have two cubes to clean, the WIR to do, visit the inlaws and do the shopping.....but I WILL be on the sofa ready for round 2! :D

I like Alesha per se but as a Strictly Judge? :shameonu: Unfortunately I felt her comments were really quite shallow and insubstantial .... highlighted by the constructive technical criticism made by the other Judges. I also felt she hadn't quite found her own personality and on occasion tried to imitate the other Judges' styles .... even Arleen, when she clicked her fingers and said 'One word .... Fierce!'. It is a real shame - I think Arleen (Sp?) is a great loss to the show. When Alesha did make technical comments it really felt like she didn't really know what she was talking about.

 

I watched it with my best friend and both of us said she could actually put us off watching ... however the draw of Matthew Cutler's hips is simply too great, and as for Rav's chest .... **swoon** :P:lol::wink:

Afraid I agree, Alesha is a bit disappointing, it's clear she can't comment on the technical issues like the other judges can and just saying 'it was lovely' is a bit pointless.

 

Too early to tell really - Lynda Bellingham wasn't great, but very entertaining - Martina's clearly a natural. They all looked so nervous, no wonder.

 

I was all set to watch last night - Marmite cashew nuts, gin :wink: - when I got a distress call from a friend who'd developed food poisoning and couldn't face a lengthy Tube journey. Luckily I hadn't started on the gin, as I had to go and pick her up, I had to watch it later and fast-forward through quite a lot of it.

I love Rav it was tough for him to go first so I am sure he will improve.

 

Think Chris was OK but overrated.

 

And sorry Aleesha - I had had my doubts, then someone had posted that she may be good as she could relate to the contestants. So I tried to have an open mind - but no. Patronising and added no value. I had thought she as trying to be Tyra Banks of ANTM with the 'fierce' bit!

 

Going out tonight so hope it is repeated tomorrow, got to try and see X-factor and Casualty too....

It was great again last night apart from the result. :?

 

Joe should have gone and should have been in the dance off with either Lynda or Rav. Poor Martina I thought she'd danced well.

 

Jade gave it her all and performed really well but I have a feeling things are not right with her and Ian. She's all over him but he seems a bit 'off' with her. Anyone else notice?

 

Chris was brilliant again as was Ali, who looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. She seems so timid.

 

My favorite dress of the two days was Ola's tango dress from Friday :D

Totally agree with everyone's comments about Aleesha she is a waste of space..they should never have got rid of Arlene....but I am surmising correctly that she will be replaced by Darcey Bussell for the last three or four weeks?

 

Joe should have gone no doubt about it..although I did agree that Rav was much better than Martina in the dance off...I suppose she ended up there because she just doesn't have enough support in the UK...also I think its very unfair that they are getting rid of a couple before the others have danced....who's to say that they won't be worse and more deserving of being sent off???

oh no, I missed it last night :(

 

I agree, aleeshas "it was lovely" was neither use nor ornament for judging :(

 

I cant believe Martina has gone :shock: , she was really good, there were loads that were poor (Joe Calzaghe for one) - but im not a dancer, so what do I know.

 

oh, what a shame,

 

I must watch next week :evil: or ill not know what is happening at all :roll:
